MX5 MK3 buying spares

Hi All, new member, looking for advice as to where I can purchase the following new spare parts,
Front suspension arm bushes, Rear anti roll bar linkages, all advisories on MOT cert,
Regards, Ken.

Had to do rear ARB drop links on my NC last month for its MOT. £19 for a pair from ebay, can’t really go wrong. Had to pull the ARB off though as the little b******s needed drilling out to get them off.

For bushes the inevitable question comes up whether you want to replace with standard or are after something a bit more firm, makes more sense to do now than later if they are on their way out.

Hi, Ken, I recently did all these. The drop links are relatively straight forward to google for. Standard OEM ones will do unless the car has been lowered.

For the bushes, the OEM units are integral with the wishbones, so the whole thing is replaced, unless you go through the process of fitting aftermarket bushes, I refer you to my recent story (I need to find the link, back in a moment.

If you don’t want the trouble of changing bushes there are aftermarket complete arms available. Look at sites like autodoc for price guidance.

MX5 Parts have a link near the top of your screen. Could click on the link. Lots of positive feed back on the club forum, used them myself.

Replaced my rear droplinks recently they are very difficult to remove :frowning: used an angle grinder to cut the bolts off in the end.
