Fancy a bit more exhaust noise and do like the sound of the bbr centre, but 630 quid plus fitting is eye watering!
Anyone know of any other options? I’d want it catted to keep it mot friendly and not throw up eml issues. I just wouldn’t mind a bit more noise as I’ve got oem centre and ulter rear back box
I added the bbr catted centre section to their GT silencer and manifold .
I too think it’s very very expensive.
My car feels great but I can’t say by itself what difference it made, as I had it installed with all the rest in one go.
No issues with mot or fitment/knocks? Maybe you pay for the perfect fitment and zero headache?

MOT passed easily when the car was hot. Failed emissions if left cooling down

Yes I do, I just had to retake the test. No changes were needed

No the main cat is in the center section!

No just make sure the cat is really hot before the test

Probably. As aftermarket hi flow cats are less effective than oem and cats work best when hot
I would say probably not as you are keeping the centre section oem cat. The manifold cat is more for cold starts
Ahhh that’s why they have 2? Makes sense now. Didn’t understand the logic. So manifold is a bit Ott/illogical to go for a catted Version?
I had a list of modifications I wanted to do to my ND2 and to complement them, I thought about getting the BBR Super 200 package with the catted exhaust manifold option.
I’ve changed my mind about it now since I wish to keep the engine standard. Sticking with the standard exhaust manifold, would my car still need to be hot for its MOT if I were to get a centre section with 300 cell cat?
