most of it sorted and thinned out barrie , still bits to do
This thread has become a little inspirational and the garage is now on my projects list.
But with respect to your garage, your gonna have to find something special to put in there. You can’t use a space like this just for deck chairs and paint tins…
I am looking Dave, but my problem is that I’ve had some very nice , immaculate cars and I’m struggling to find another nice one
Your j2 ltd would blend in here Barrie
Well, mine was very similar in the sense it had 4 wheels, a steering wheel and an engine! TBH, if I had a choice, I’d have the commer or whichever version it is!
Barrie
well the garage is more or less finished , just need more storage boxes for shelves and storage locker to separate different items.
but here some pics …
from this ,
to this,
its been a lot of work , but hopefully worth it , if i can keep it something like tidy .
just need to find a new '5 to put in it
Very nice, those before photos still give me the shivers!
You painted the HiFi???
He did!
Barrie
But… will you be able to find anything now?
(With those dark glasses on to stop from being dazzled.)
stereo???, 3 coats of emulsion
i offered barrie it for his collection , its an early “bally”
i should have took it when it was offered Geoff!
Barrie
All joking aside Geoff, you’ve done a great job there
Barrie
Great job👍
Very nice job indeed and the maroon door looks great with the yellow.
Geoff, fantastic job there, love the bike racks, the Bisley tool draws, large vice I also have a Record 24 but need to make a bench to take the weight, whats the two half moon wires for under the vice are they to hold a bike vertical, really like the wife’s mower on the door so she doesn’t have to enter the cave , cheers Rob.
That looks really good Geoff - well done.
Cheers rob and Andrew,
The vice is a record 25 and weighs a ton , 2 man job to lift on bench. I bought my dad it 35 yrs ago , now I own it
Yes the hoops are for holding the bikes while doing repairs/ maintenance.
The bisley 10 drawer cabinet holds all my tools ( now thinned down , most donated to my son ). I picked that up for £10
The bigger blue locker was a freebie from work when we had new lockers installed .
