NC 3.75 Disappearing tow eye cover

Greetings. This is a bit of a 1st world issue really.

The cover for the front towing eye on my lovely 3.75 sport tech keeps disappearing. I don’t know if someone(s) is pinching it or what, they certainly are not loose fitting. I have replaced 3 since last January. At £15+ a pop I’m becoming peeved ( more so than usual anyway​:smirking_face: ).

Is anybody aware of a cheaper alternative, or similar workaround, like a 3d printer doo dah ,I’ve never used one but there is access to said technology at our local library.

Try one more time but put a load of numberplate sticky pads behind it.

I asked the same question recently - there are a couple of suggestions in the replies that I received.

BTW, they are not towing eyes - they are only designed to be used to tie down the car during transport.
