New keys remote not working

The central locking on my 06 NC3 doesn’t work, I have installed new batteries in the remote keys, any ideas or suggestions where I can get new ones.

Does the red LED light up on the key when you press lock or unlock and have you tried to re-register them? See this link. Does the boot open using a transmitter?

There are no lights on the remote which leads me to believe it might be broken, do you have recommendations for a new one ?

Daft suggestion but have you taken the protective sticker off the new batteries ?

Also check the batteries are ok. I’ve lost count of bad batteries I’ve got from random brands on Amazon.
