SAT NAV SCREEN DELAMINATION ON THE BOTTOM CORNERS

  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: Sat nav screen is staring to delaminate behind the glass

Known issue unfortunately (as per link at bottom of https://forum.mx5oc.co.uk/t/nd-infotainment-screen-cracks/137159

There is a fix but it looks quite involved:

Best bet is to replace the screen. If doing so, apparently later model screens have either a better contrast or resolution (or both, I can’t remember)

I have a screen/unit available if that ever helps. From a 2017 rf.

I had mine replaced under warranty but I see its a 2015, might be worth a try if there is a recall?

Hello Everyone

Thanks for useful information all round - Screen removal looks do able by myself but not so confident about the actual screen replacement, will look for companies that are able to fit the new glass when my own screen gets worse.
