My model of MX-5 is: __Nc 2007
I’m based near: __Rochester
I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: __Indicators
The self cancelling indicator function (I hope it should have it lol) does not work on my car.
Can somebody point me in the right direction of what part I need to replace to reinstate this.
Thank you
It’s a manual one - you do it yourself.
A guy across the pond made one - called it TapTurn - BUT he, unfortunately, died a few years ago.
My other car has the ‘tap turn’ facility and I miss it when I’m in the MX5. I may be completely wrong, but looking at the links provided it seems there are two ways to achieve this; either third party replacement flasher units or ‘wire-in’ modules. It’s also commented that this may be a standard feature on other current Mazdas. I wonder if the feature is simply built in to the flasher relay itself on the other models which have the feature. So, substituting a flasher relay from one of these …
Thanks for the reply, I should have made myself clearer I didn’t mean the tapturn feature which my other car has but when you make a turn and then return the wheel to centre it cancels the indicator.
