What is peoples view on using shoe glue and fabric ? Some sites say no for cars but see people advertising with this bei g carried out on their MX-5 they are selling

Wouldn’t recommend it.

My experience has been negative on all the recent so called “shoe glue” products based on superglue. It simply doesn’t flex enough.
The traditional urethane based ones are more likely to work, but only if they have some sort of solvent base.
Experiment first!
