It pitched up at the dealer last night and I’ll collect next Tuesday as away this weekend.I just had to pop in and take some paperwork to the dealer so had a quick look.It still needs PDIing and treated with Diamondbrite etc and it’s raining but the car looks stunning in Soul Red with the gunmetal alloys :
Fab, they really do look good with the dark wheels and mirrors. And really, would you pick it up now anyway if you could? Tuesday makes much more sense with the 65 plate. So works out for the best
Fantastic looking cars, love the look of the new ND, especially with the dark wheels. Seen lots of the new ND’s on car transporters yesterday on my travels, so hopefully more who have ordered should be getting them very soon. All the best and enjoy your new cars.
Hope to one day have one myself, although thats likely to be quite some time in the future.
Had the opportunity to test drive the 1.5 sport yesterday. Fabulous drive and so many improvements on previous models but will not be purchasing yet. The main drawback being the soft top only option. As a Mk 3.5 owner with automatic folding hard top, which is used as my main car daily, going back to a soft top with the care and maintenance needed is a step too far just now. I appreciate the performance reasons for not producing a hard top version but anyone living north of the border (without garaging) will appreciate the dillema I have. I’m not ready to go back to scraping icicles from inside the roof yet, but give it a few months of watching everyone else throwing the car into corners and I might be persuaded.
Had an PRHT for 10 months out of the last 12 years of 5 ownership, looking forward to going back to the soft top, it’s part of the attraction for me of the 1.5, going back to basics in a modern package
