As per our Solent Area FaceBook Post just now, this is an urgent plea, for those attending the Solent Area Christmas Meal on Sunday 4th December, to please pay a £5/head deposit, via PayPal soonest!
Monies had not been discussed by the venue up to this point but now our numbers have reached a wefantastic 40 members for the meal, they have requested a £5 deposit from each person, which we can understand, as they need to have some form of buy-in/commitment to this event, as they have some fixed costs relating to food for everyone.
a) to tick the “paying friends or family box” to avoid any transaction charges!!!**
b) No Dosh = No Nosh
On a final note, if anyone is ubnable to attend the meal for any reason, having originally said they would come along, please advise us as soon as possible, so we can update the venue
Please check your entries on the above spreadsheet, which supercedes all previous spreadsheets.
Also, please check to see if I have missed your name off the spreadsheet or got your meal choices incorrect, for completeness and to avoid dissapointment on the day.
There are only three spaces left now, so if anyone else wishes to join us all, please let me know and pay your deposit(s) soonest
The latest update, as of 21:00 Sunday night is that, with only 2 weeks until this event, most of the deposit monies are in but I have still have 14 deposit payments outstanding.
Please ensure that you go online and pay me via PayPal, as per Post#41, as I have no desire to take people off the list due to lack of deposit monies.

We are now pretty much there and good to go and Nikki has confirmed she is happy to stretch to the 47 members we currently have signed up for this event, so all is good
On the day, Nikki or her staff will take balance payments from everyone against individual names and annotate the spreadheet for completeness, as I am going to print off an A3 copy of the spreadsheet for them and take it over and pay the Deposit monies to them in the next couple of days, hopefully, when the rains stops, so I can go in the MX5
Bookings, meal orders and deposit payments are now all in and thus this event is closed to any further bookings, as we are at maximum numbers for the venue.

This is the final post for the Christmas Meal on the 4th December and we have taken over the whole dining room and conservatory, due to our fantastic number of attendees, standing at 48
