I’ve been using switchbacks from AliExpress for nearly a year now. I don’t use the supplied resistors as I chose to modify the flasher box instead. I’ve not had a problem with them and it went through an MOT okay.

Hi, why did you modify the flasher box instead of using the supplied resistors?
Are they easy enough to to install? What did you do with the orange glass in the lamp housing?

Took me a while to get to the DLR lights bit on his car, he has been busy on it?!!

The resistors get hot. If you change the capacitor in the flasher relay [NC Hyperflash fix for LED signals - MX-5 Miata Forum] you don’t need the resistors. It isn’t hard to do, as I have next to no soldering skills. Just take your time.
The switchbacks were fairly easy to put in as I took the bumper off. If you do it the other way you will have to remove some of the front wheel arch poppers to pull the inner arch cover back to get access, which is possible, just cramped.
Mines a 3.5 so doesn’t have orange filters. I assume yours is a 3.0, in which case do check your flasher carefully to make sure it is one that can be modded (should you go that way).
