OK Boys and Girls, we should be on circuit till about 6pm tomorrow night, so anyone finishing work early feel free to come for an afternoon session. Even if you can only get there at 3 it won’t be crowded so come and have a go, at our special afternoon price £35 price.

Totaly agree with that mate , top day, big thanks to MOT for the organisation and the marshalls who were kept quite busy and a big commiserations to the guy in the grey mk3 racecar that now needs extensive panel replacement but we saw it coming didnt we <img src="/forum/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/original/emotion-2.gif" alt="Big Smile" border="0" title="Big Smile" /> thanks to Gaz for the ?????? great day mate sorry I spun in front of you and thanks for not hitting me coz I couldnt see you in all the dust and I`m sure it was the same for you!!! as regards the camera it broke at the first hairpin and as you know it fell down the back of the seat, but a big thanks to the track officials who were willing to red flag the session for me to go and look for it. I think it was just a combination of kerbs, potholes and my very erratic driving that caused it to break. as regards the clash of the mk2s I think you had the legs on me BUT dont rest on your laurels mate coz when the next real track comes up then it might be different, unless youve hammered your credit card with them gaz shocks, anyway thanks for a great day , catch you at the next one. by the way the pie and peas were brill.

The first set of cones on the return leg were moved at lunchtime. I was trying different lines and speeds and put the front wheels in the dust and discovered that the green stuff is rougher than the balck stuff. No harm done and nothing hit.
I decided to have tuition from time to time to move forward (a good idea in track driving
) and to nip any bad habits in the bud. If Steve continues his association with MoT it will be good to keep seeing the same instuctor.
A great day all round and my thanks go to all who made it possible and to all who attended.

Yeah got a fair bit on film will get it edited and put it on here asap. didnt have any rain on my way home and followed the guy with the gun metal grey mk1 with the alloy wing on the back (him with the bonnet partially open, he drives with like that!) re the pics Ill nudge Nick on that as they usually put them on the mot website but Iam sure hell read this and let us know. big cleaning day tomorrow , thatll piss the wife off.
