West London area - Kempton Steam Museum - Sunday 18 November

That was an excellent day, a chance not to have been missed.

I was impressed by the precision of the engineering on such a gigantic scale, a mere thousand horsepower for each engine to pump that much water up to a head of two hundred feet!

And then on the floor down below there were a couple of steam turbine engines, tiny, but also rated at a thousand horsepower!

And of course many thanks to Peter for arranging this visit as well as the perfect sunshine.

Please check out this feedback from Gaynor Cauter, from the museum. Well done everyone.

Hi Peter

Back at my desk in Hereford now! Thank you so much for coming – they were a lovely crowd and the fact that everyone stayed until the end was much appreciated.

Do please come again – particularly for our big car show next year on Sunday 22 September. You can have a patch to yourselves for your flags etc.

Best wishes

Gaynor

Nice one Peter, always nice to be appreciated. I’d certainly be up for it next year, really enjoyed it.

Yeah, me too. Great feedback
