I have decided to take the 5 into the paint shop and have a stripe from front to back ie bonnet and boot but off center
more over to the near side but my dillema is what colour will match raceing bronze.
i was thinking a purple or even black
any thaughts ??

How about the same colour as the car but a few shades darker or even a few tints lighter that could look well cool. Try it on a photo editing software to see what it looks like

Think they are called ghost stripes and you can go darker or lighter but not too obvious in certain light…
I was jsut thinking about getting the very same thing on my Winning blue Mk3…ghost stripe…
i am rubbish at photoshop but that sounds cool i wonder if i am cheeky enougth some kind person may

Personally I think the more subtle approach works jsut as well as a bold stripe…and think a ghost stripe would look great on yours…if your car generally looks dark go light, if it generally looks light, go dark…

Ive looked everywhere for pictures of gold ghost stripes & cant seem to find any so your be quite original too

To be fair mate, not my idea.
I saw a bronze coloured Mustang over in California last year, it had two matt graphite grey viper stripes and looked truly stunning.
