I’ll do the other views shortly, and I think I might be correct in thinking you can achieve the same effect by getting exterior vinyl cut stripes (of a say 10% or 15% tint) applied to the car, which would be far cheaper than a paint job and removable too.

Rear view, not quite as effective as the perspective is harder to follow and I have made the stripes too thin compared to the front view, but you can at least get the idea.

Seeing how we kinda hijacked your original thread here’s a few options for you on a gold mk2, if you need to see more or thicker stripes (or an extra thin stripe either side etc.) let me know.

On a Racing Bronze I’d go for a black, white or silver stripe.
A few more options for him to consider, as has been said all depends on whether you like subtle or in your face, personally I kinda like the look of the ghost stripe - many others prefer the more in your face option.

OMG now i have sat down and digested all the options i am spoilt for choice
and i do like the double stripe so i will be of to se my paint guy who fixed the family car last week an he did a top job so now its
just going to be down to cost.

Go Vinyl, it is easier to put right if you look at resale, and cheaper

Hmm, this has me wondering what would work best on my Galaxy Grey. I think lighter is the best option, but then whether to go just whiter/lighter (not sure how bar spraying) or silver (which could look very cool).
