Re the Racing Bronze ~ i would consider a medium wide plus a narrow stripe if going for the off set
And, typical me trying to be different i’d think about a stripe(s) down, say, the left side of the bonnet and the right side of the boot 
I have just re-read the complete thread and what a great bunch of pics there is and now i am definetly going for a twin stripe approx 100mm wide and 75mm apart
the question is vynal or paint and my colour choice is grey on the bronze i think will look fine (hopefully)
I think based on the most helpful above renders that either silver or a dark tint will work very well. Just need to convince the wife now and get it done. Fortunately we have a 4 car garage at work I can do it in the dry.
Another benefit is that it will cover up all the small stone chips and touchup paint marks on the nose.
