not so much done to as done for…booked her in for a trackday at Silverstone ( full GP circuit ! ) on Dec 8th

this is what happens when you round a corner ( on a road that you know well and use every day ) and find your path blocked by someone doing a u-turn to get out of the long queue of traffc they have obviously been sat in for one or two minutes too long…just what i needed two weeks before the spring rally

Ouch Kev, like the others I am totally gutted for you mate, but I am sure she will be fixed very soon.
you’re absolutely right mate…fortunately the only damage was to the metal and rubber and although a little shaken up we both walked away injury ( and compo claim ) free
thanks to all for your kind messages…now the race against time begins to get it all sorted before the spring rally !

Glad you are okay, and with a little help from your friends the car will be as good as new hopefully, see you at the Rally, we know all about crashed cars…!!! Martyn now has a Peugeot 106 as the Nissen Almera is in the scrap metal place in the sky… mind you his was terminal, turned upside down on roof, driveshaft and rest of car left in bits on the road.
Look forward to seeing the new shiny bits at the Spring Rally.

i’m at the mercy of the insurers and repair garage now…if they don’t get it done in time there’ll be no spring rally for me 
…hoping to get the damage estimate done on tuesday morning and get the repairs under way asap
