Yes, it is driveable but I don’t really relish driving around in my pride & joy in an imperfect state… thanks for the extremely generous and kind offer mate, but I’m gonna spend the weekend drowning my sorrows…I’m off on me holibobs on Tuesday, so I’ve got plenty of washing, ironing, and packing to get done to take my mind off it…should get down to Mark Cross next month and I might even have my new wheels and graphics on by then…hope the weather holds out for you on Sunday…have fun mate

they keep telling me the 25th, but i can’t pick her up till the 30th coz i’m off on me holibobs tomorrow…still, it gives me something to look forward to when i get back…i’ll get 'em on, put my new graphics on and come and show her off asap, which will probably be at either (but more likely both) the Mark Cross or Brookers Oast meets
It will be worth waiting for mate. We wont be at the next Mark Cross as a few of the pirates are off on holiday to France. Check out the Wittering Picnic though in July.
Hopefully Kev and Flea your cars will be a good as new soon and you can start to enjoy the sunny weather. We know all about car troubles, Martyns secondhand new little car only had a couple of weeks the clutch has gone the day after we got back from the Spring Rally … oh joy… this is life as we know it… never a dull moment in our household…
Martyn and I are taking my MX5 car to Brands Hatch today to take part going round the track on semi pro track day in Matt and Nigel Garretts Ma5da car wizzing round the track and Mark at Freeelance (Sponsor of the car) .
We have had the most fantastic day, racing round the track even overtook Rowan Atkinson racing in his renault, what an action packed day, thanks to Matt and Nigel who took me round in their cars as passenger for very fast racing. What amazing cars on track lots of fun with different cars, thanks to Mark at Freelance for inviting us down for the day always nice to catch up.
All we can say is I have the bug again and you never know I may have to think about racing again gosh I forgot the buzz it gives you racing round the track thanks for a fab day and Happy Birthday to Matt, loved the Eunion Jack cake wicked.
