Whoa, that’s not good! Did you have the wraps put on or did you buy it with them?
When you say Wraps do you mean the car was wrapped with a coloured vinyl coating to change it’s colour or do you mean it was just under a cover?
For some reason red seems to be particularly bad for problems with the clear topcoat varnish. Look at older red cars abroad in hot climates and they seem particularly bad. If it is just the varnish a good Detailer may be able to sort it. I hope you get it sorted ok.
Reversed out of garage to gain access to some storage boxes. Left the engine running as I thought it was a good idea to keep battery topped up. Well, it is now! I forget about it two hours later, MrsB asked why the garage door was open? Everything was fine, nice steady temperature, could barely hear the engine ticking over. How embarrassing

Hi B, I put this up a while a go:
“It is 1968 and I am 18 years old and living at home. We had a single drive and arriving home at 1am the standard procedure was to reverse my dads car out put mine in and pop his back on the drive.
One Sunday morning our neighbour came round and handed my dad the keys to his car. Obviously he was somewhat puzzled.
Our neighbour had woken about 4am and looked out to see my father’s car parked across the road with the engine running.
I always just left it in the road with the engine running as it would only be seconds before I put it back on the drive. I just forgot the last bit on this particular night.
Dad was cool about it God bless him.”
I should have said cover. It’s just the patch above the badge which is a shame. Been off road since last Oct and mould free due to a regular change of cat litter. Will be garaged this winter thankfully
Thank you…it drove like a dream though. Couldnt believe it and beautiful weather meant the roof came down.
It’s gone straight in for its MOT and service so roof and paintwork next…
You didn’t have anything sat on the cover did you, like a cat litter tray?
Thank God it’s not just me Malc!

Hi…maybe the odd cat lol
Cat litter inside. Sal
In November I had the front chassis rails repaired so today I jacked up the front of the car and removed the front wheels to see the repair. There was a comment that the discs were wearing thin but I measured them at 19 mm and nice and shiny on both sides, against a minimum of 18 mm, they started off new at 20 mm 23,000 miles ago, so still plenty of life. The wheels spin freely. I cleaned behind the wheel arch liners. It is amazing how many dead leaves get there. Altogether quite a pleasant few hours in the sun.
Given my restoration shop is closed till further notice, I decided to get as far as possible without an orbiter to remove as much post-repaint swirls & micro flaws by hand.
3 hours for front wing, door, and rear nearside so far. Poorboys swirl removers & Poorboys Carnuba alloy & paint waxes.
Ain’t there yet…but getting there.
That looks really good - well done.
My plan of painting callipers failed when car wouldn’t start. Tried unsuccessfully to jump it down the hill. Ended up using my big car to get my little one alive again!!
Yet another wash and a few trips to the end of the drive and back. Oh the dilemma whether to take it off Sorn but as a second car not really an option.
I did that to my Mx5 2005 and topped up the gear box in the top , it was dry when I got it, what a difference
Slow day … fitted some Denso Hybrid wiper blades from @Devin
Just one fitted in pic
They look pretty good
Android Tablet on the dash install. Happy with that!
Tablet is a old a sluggish, but all works
Car has a standalone ECU so I can access ECU data real time and play music via bluetooth
Had to trim the trim to have access to the power button
Had to be creative with the switch panel underneath
Fitted new floor mats, replaced the interior and boot light bulbs with LED alternatives then gave it a really good wash.
