Good idea! I don’t have that issue…my man servant is always on hand to wipe the soles of my shoes each time I climb into the cockpit.
If only I was that lucky
I must try that: I think my shoes are a little wide than they need to be for my feet. I am looking forward to the summer when I shall be wearing sandals all the time.

Iirc , you can be prosecuted for wearing inappropriate footwear that compromises your control of the vehicle.
No high heels then chaps…
I cant see why sandals should be inappropriate. I once tried to buy some
Scholl driving shoes to save wear on my shoe-heels, but was disgusted to find that they didnt make them large enough to fit my size 11 feet.

Sandals are always inappropriate!!! -------------- I know, I’m going!!
Get yourself off to Holland, buy some clogs…they’ll never wear out on the heels and they’d be fun trying to drive in them:rofl:
replaced the centre counsel on my NC with a S/H one ., The former owner had a mobile phone holder fitted . Plus bluetooth fitted just took it all out now in the bin.
I’ve touched up the chips in the paint on the PRHT and replaced the boot struts.
Heres a before and after of the paint. My application is far from perfect but from a distance it looks great and the paint matches the original Highland Green very well!

Mk4 gear knob finally arrived from MX5Parts this morning so quickly got to swapping it for the original that I didn’t quite like the feel of… new one is much better…!!
Will have chance to test it out tomorrow on the drive to Mallory Park to watch some Classic & Modern Motorsport Club racing…
Up at 4.30, beautiful drive through the Peak district to Stoke on trent so quiet on the roads. Went to have some paintwork done on the car.
9 hours later, to say I’m pleased is an understatement.
The guy painted extra areas that did need attention but we only discussed them for a later date. didnt expect him to do them.
Some before and after pictures.
Is that a Zunsport ? Looks great
Yeah, black zunsport. Got a code for discount and had it a while. Like the fact the plate covers the white decal too. No bumper off either
I’d like one on mine but, the one I’ve been told fits doesn’t look as nice as the full one you have.
I was dubious about it or getting Mazda sport. But the hassle of bumper off and the cost. Made me go zunsport. Il leave it on for a while and see
Ooh I’ll check out the Mazda Sport grill.
Cheers
Applied some Gummi Fledge to all the seals on my RF…
Question - how often is it recommended to apply?
On my S2000 I did it twice a year - once when I removed the hardtop mid-Spring and again when I stuck the hardtop back mid-Autumn.
But not sure how often is enough with an RF roof - which I hope be operating a few times a week - assuming the weather finally picks up…
Over the last few day’s. Removed the hoops went over them with wet and dry . Gave them four light coats of plastic primer. Then a few coats of silver to match the body and refitted.back on .
I see it comes in a few formats, these, among others. Is there any particular reason to choose one over another?
