I have the same tool
That I cannot say, as you know I’m not a follower of that particular fashion.
Just 2?
Are they for the front or back?
Hi l have all four going to sell the ones one the car with tyres and a spare with TPMS fitted later next year …!
My car insurance started on Monday and I’ve just been driving the car since!! I absolutely love it, it’s such a great car to drive and so far I’ve done over 200 miles, with about half of those on the first free day I had.
Here are some photos from today in Downham… I think next week a clean is in order including a good hose-down underneath
The Forest of Bowland! What an amazing area to drive your MX5 around. We visit that area regularly and absolutely love it!! We will be back there mid to late January, staying at The Spread Eagle in Sawley, Hopefully the weather will be kind enough to do some hill walking. If not we’ll enjoy driving around the amazing country lanes of the area!
Stunning wheels
Kumho PS71’s fitted to all four corners. 21/24 date code. Have only driven them home on a short blast up the motorway and they seem a little quieter than the Goodyear eagle F1’s they are replacing.
A nice two day trip into Donegal this week to run them in.
I use the hole in mine to stuff the excess length of my mobile phone lead into
Connected new extended length MaF sensor cable, connected battery , fired her into life and ran for 40 mins or so.
Also dotted 6 mini dehumidifier tubs in cabin and boot as she’s stored in unheated garage.
I used to, but OCD made me run it under the trim and out by the cubby Then the space needed filling and there you go…more expense; as if Roadie hadn’t had enough from me in the past
Anti-OCD tablets coming soon. Just got to wait for the labels to cover the Smartie branding on the tubes.
Took my ND down to the dyno today for its first recorded run.
Running a cobalt backbox and the BBR 175 remap.
Results:
157bhp @ 6,375rpm
145lbft @ 3427rpm
Redline @ 7270rpm
One of the easier things ‘to do’ as i just had to sit there and watch
Are those results before the remap or after? Im thinking of having my nd1 done (the super 175 map) but if you are only getting 157 horses thats 4 less than stock?? How old and how many miles has yours done? Be interested in your experience and if it is woth it Sorry am assuming you have a 2.0, apologies if its a 1.5!!
Ps i also have a cobalt back box which is why im keen to hear how it goes.
When I had my ND2 which was fitted with a Cobalt back box modified by BBR with their Super 220 package, BBR could not achieve the specified power they advertise for the car fitted with a standard OEM back box. BBR blamed the Cobalt back box and advised that fitting of their GT Sports back box at an extra c£400 was the only answer. The car still struggled to get near the specified power even with this extra cost. If I remember correctly it produced 115 BHP. That was only the start of my problems with BBR.
Great job i never go near wiring completely useless so well done
