Got two coats of paint on upper rear arms and after three coats of super dooper tough paint on front upper wishbones…I pushed a couple of tough red thingy mebobs in.

Plodded 10 minutes to where Bullit is garaged …padlock frozen…hinges on wooden garage doors frozen…never happened before since renting garage in 2019…my iron front gate hatch…frozen…wheelie bin/recycling stuff…all frozen solid…Postie damaged my letter box which was also frozen…
Must be serious because Council came and hand gritted the tiny Close I live in for the first time in 10 years
Don’t doubt Climate Change…will be going out with WD40 in a day or two to try and get into garage to access Bullit and got the last Tesco slot for groceries meanwhile

Far too much salt on the roads around here today for any driving, even though the sun has been out. Instead I’ve soundproofed the boot. Hopefully it’ll make “some” difference

Took cover off to check interior for damp. All smells good ( car is in garage) Checked optimiser as sitting there doing its stuff. Cleaned up garage and floors from plastering job just completed in bathroom ( reason for there being a car cover as a working garage for other stuff )
Still waiting a nice day to see how the front and rear strut braces make any changes to the car that I fitted early December. Oh and ‘accidentally’ ordered a Maxton from splitter for the car last night . Well that’s what I said to the missus, who questions on how I had an ‘accidental’ spend … something I can’t answer really

After rust converter and four coats of paint curing for several days I inserted Strongflex 80 shore bushes.

Took Genevieve yesterday for Dinitrol treatment, there was four MX-5’s booked in that week.

Finally finished replacing the front brake seals, front and rear braided steel hoses, front ARB bushes and the drop links. A whole weekend of work and the car is driving beautifully again.

Today I’m on a split shift so managed an hour or so in man cave.
These rear arms are brand new , smallest bushes I’ve removed so far and the most stubborn .
Hampered by only having one drill bit of suitable size, no room for snags or snaps 
I was very conscious about the lack of weight in these arms so fearful of too much pressure from vice grip.
I believe they must be of hollow tube design.
Anyway bushes out and ready for several coats of paint before polys go in.
Just for good measure I rubbed down and sprayed wiper arms satin black also.
…how boring am I

Washed it! A rare warm sunny day, so I used the opportunity to wash a few weeks of road grime off the car

Fixed a sticking caliper with a rebuild and thought may as well do it all so all calipers now have new seals and steel braided lines along with some red paint for that extra stopping power 
Now on to new taillights and putting a manual antenna on to get rid of my giant electric one.

Very nice. Did you you have the roof and mirrors wrapped? Durable enough with the folding mechanism and panels?

Thanks, still learning. I was confused as it looks like a bright red and knew the sport black only came in the darker red, must just be the lighting.
