What have you done to your MX-5 today? (Part 2)

it was done over time, wirebrush, rust conversion, stonechip, and today some fresh waxoil.

Its not perfect, yet 1000 times better than what it was when I started.

Hi panda

Where did you get the door pulls from I’m looking for similar as the OEM interior door handles are a bit scratched on NC from previous owners and design wise are a bit naff imo

If these are a success, would you consider making to sell? I’ve just sprayed my hubs battleship grey and could do with matching the inserts.

So love the exhaust.

But your number plate needs burning :fire: :joy: sorry

The black part is 3D printed. Could do with being a bit more solid. Otherwise works fine.

I thought the same when he first posted a picture of the number plate, but since then it’s grown on me. Might get one myself.

Where did you get your number plate?

Thanks, any chance you know or someone else knows the size of the screw required to fit the door pull? I think the TRS alternative might be better as is has metal plate rather than plastic but it comes with 11mm hole

where did you get the Recaro limited edition badge from on the rear please. Thanks

I believe the guy who makes the straps ā€˜ Jack Ralston’, find him on YouTube has updated the design to ensure a sturdier fixing to door.

I take it that this cannot be fitted to the standard ND rear box which has a twin pipi outlet?

Plate Zone

No need a single outlet exhaust pipe

Never mind, think of the emissions it saved. I mean, surely it seems phenomenal better knowing that? All for the greater good etc etc

Remember every plate is going to be different when getting the bubble design!

Aren’t all number plates different? I thought that was the point:rofl:

Ha ha such a comedian. As DH didn’t say why he didn’t like the plate I was just pointing out that the bubble effect would be different for different registrations. You know some people can’t visualise different effects. :upside_down_face:

Do you have a wider view image, that one makes it look huge in the context of the car?

Designed and printed my own number plate supports to remove the nasty front plate holder

It fits in colourwise and is more comfortable than the original little cubby pad both if I’m holding the stick or just cruising in traffic.
