I wish i took photos, there was a part i couldn’t get undone and the two trays stayed connected while i figured how I’d get them off; the skid pan itself was fixed to a bit that was rusty i really thought this would snap as i tried to get it off.

After 2 hours of trying, i was too frustrated to continue and started to wish i had access to a lift to work under the car.

Another part of me started thinking about buying a brand new MX-5 from the proceeds of a house sale so I don’t have to do this for a bit. I’d miss the NC a lot though..

At least you don’t need to pay a Mazda Monkey a huge slice of the house money to do those ‘easy jobs’

I’m tied in to using OEM and paying Stealer prices on my new one.

I hear you, i don’t think I could go down the dealership route to get things fixed knowing that you’re gonna get financially raped by them other places can fix at a fraction of a price.
