Yes indeed Andy, it was an absolute pleasure to observe a MK4 up close, Your one being the most stunning example I’ve ever seen. My favourite colour was red but now I’m not so sure… Even at the National rally recently there wasn’t one that looked nicer than your one… Your particular car needs to be seen up close A photo of it cannot Show it’s true beauty… Can’t wait to see it after the ceramic coating goes on, You enjoy it Andy. I’m sure you will, It was nice chatting to you I got so excited With looking at your work of art that I forgot to ask you in for a cup of tea bless you… Anyway. Thanks again Andy I think that it looked on a par with a Stunning red example that I saw on here Recently … best regards from Ray of Epping Essex. Ps any time you want that missed cuppa you know where I live now, And lastly, if you have the car lowered A bit …watch the speed humps etc, …Ray
Yes. Halfords do a real beautiful trolly jack perfect for the MX5s £50 Low entry too …
No problem Ray, I’ve a busy weekend ahead and I’m at Silverstone next weekend, but I may be able to pop over one day in the week.
If I can help meanwhile, have go with the pictures.
When you open the reply box insert your text then leave a space so your cursor is in a free space under the text. You just hit that picture button on the left of the two at the bottom right of the box.
That will bring up your images and you just select the one you want to post then select done, for me that shows up at the top of my phone screen. Then you just wait for it to load up in the reply box then hit the reply button as you will normally do to put a post up.
See image below…
Have a go at posting a picture, use the test forum section, scroll down the page it’s just before the rally events section of the forum.
We’ve met Ray, very briefly at the rally. We were sitting having a cuppa by our car and we shared a few tales of losing stuff, my phone for one. You had found your lost car key by then you told us.
Yes I remember you now, we exchanged stories about losing things. I had just lost My car key and got it back when someone found it 300 yds away in the deep grass. How lucky was that eh. And it was my ONLY key too, I would have had to wait in the field until Monday until someone could come out and attempt to make me a new key etc… Best regards from Ray …
By jove, he’s got it. Yay it worked!
Yep, it looks as if I’ve sorted out how to include photos in my posts thanks to people like your good self… and the with the help of IanC bless his heart bless you all … kind regards from Ray in Theydon Bois Essex…
Yep you certainly have. Every time I turn my iPad over to see your photo the right way up. It spins over again But I’ve now got my IT head working. All I do is stand behind the iPad and look at it from upside down… my misses thinks I’ve gone off my rocker especially as I was drinking a glass of wine as I did it… take care. Bless you all,
Kind regards from Ray in Epping Essex …
Probably nothing to do with the lorry. Sounds pretty much normal for us blokes. My wife says I have two faults, I don’t listen, and something else, don’t know what it was she said…
Replaced the gearbox and differential oil. Needed a 23mm and 24mm socket! My 16 year son did the diff oil…bit of bonding
Ha ha ha… Te he he… your quip tickled me… now, re the guy who came today to look at my Roadie replacement wind blocker.!
He had a brand new MK4 He liked my “Roadie”. But as you might know the MK4 Mazda wind blocker is much nicer than the ones fitted to the earlier cars. Looks much more substantial etc. And it lifts off in a split second. He did note that the roadie one didn’t ! But all is not lost I referred to the roadie one as “ being Different “ which is what these MX5s are all about Changing their character with little personal touches etc, Be interesting to see if he gets in touch. … His brand new Mk 4 was beyond stunning Everything about it was spot on. Colour and interior options absolutely jaw dropping beautiful … anyway Take care Paul, I will continue to promote your Roadie at every show and meeting that I attend. Best… From Ray …
I’ve washed The Shadow and put on Ceramic Glaze. All shiny and ready for my day out with The Peaks and Pennines Run tomorrow and
Looks truly stunning. A credit to you… Enjoy it, Yesterday a local guy brought his brand new MK4 around to show me it, The first time I have had a good look at one. A work of Art is the only way to describe them. His one was lovely. It had every option Lovely dark blue coach work and white leather in the cabin And the options stood out too. Enjoy your lovely car. It looks Very shiny…My much older MK3 has so much polish and shine on it that a bumble Bee attempted to land on the bonnet and slid off the end of it… True story … Ray from Epping Essex
Thanks Ray, that is so funny about the bumble bee , what a cracking job you did for that result.
Yep, my car has many coats of polish and the extra protection polish by Auto glym Halfords (£12). I would strongly recommend it And it’s so easy to apply and wipe off. Etc, But yours won’t be needing much attention for quite a while.now it has been coated, Lovely beautiful model the MK4 is… Ray…
