Ah, happy memories from each of my many trips there.
Did you venture through the Aiguille Percée, like the group in the photo?

I haven’t done that!On a previous trip I did the ice dive-quite a “different” experience.
Not too bad coming down, but you definitely need more grip going back up!!
@pmba Love the last one of the branches and moon out of focus.
Here is another deep sky image I took recently of a gas/dust cloud close to Rigel. It’s called the Witch Head Nebula.
St Paul’s Walden Bury, Hertfordshire birth place and childhood home of Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, better known as Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother.
Forgot to say both photos taken using Apple iPhone 5s
Beautifully crisp shot of a Gladiator. Nice job
Lovely bent winged bird.
Great choice of shutterspeed to capture the blurred prop and background. Gives the shot plenty of energy.
My good lady and I recently went on a 5-mile walk along the Two Tunnels Greenway, which is a cycle and footpath along the old Somerset & Dorset Railway trackbed just south of Bath.
It’s an interesting trek, with one of the tunnels, under Combe Down, a suburb of Bath, about a mile long (luckily, it has interior lighting !). This is a shot of Midford Castle, which is not normally visible from the road through the Midford Valley, but the old railway line contains this stunning view, high on the hill, as you amble along in the sunshine.
