1/80th of a second, half the pictures come out blurred in the wrong places!

Is photo no3 at the Solent Sky Museum in Southampton? Well worth a visit with some unique exhibits. Where else can you see Saunders-Roe jet fighter flying boat, a Supermarine S6A Schneider Trophy racer, and go inside a Sandringham (Sunderland) flying boat?

Yes, Solent Sky…a relatively small museum but packed to the gunnels with interesting exhibits.

Ladybower Reservoir and Derwent Dam in the Peak District prior to our Peaks & Pennines run to the Kettlewell Scarecrows.

The last time I visited the dam the water was flowing over the top.

One of our favourite walks. It’s particularly stunning when all the heather is out.

You get around, that last picture is Fort Perch Rock on the Wirral isn’t it?

We had to have help to get down there (2nd pic) bit scary, that’s when we were around 20 years younger and a 10 mile or so hike was just a stroll.

We were at the end of a 10 miler and thought better of it. Had a coffee and watched the ‘young uns’ struggle up there.
The drive from Buckden to Malham was more strenuous, as dodging the locals in their zero or 100mph vehicles, was an education!!
