I spotted a few MX5s while I was out for a drive in Warwickshire:
Oh, and some Mazdas yesterday…
Took a photo of an old friend:
(Yup, drove one for a few years, though this picture is a project drive costed down mk2)
Kinross for coffee and cake, after 1st. run of 2024 up to Aberfeldy and back via Gleneagles/Glendevon.
We are on holiday in Majorca staying in Cal-a-dor. This guy had just performed I Want to Break Free as Freddie Mercury. He was fantastic.
I’ll resist the National Rally pictures but from the same day… an old Bentley of some kind, I don’t know what tho…
Lancia - you know the rest
I played fuel light bingo on my way back to the north… I won, but not by much
According to “check my MOT” the Bentley is a 1939 model. It says “2250” but it looks like a 4.5 litre model.
Oddly it says the MOT expired in May 2024 (?)
‘Old’ cars don’t need an MOT anymore, it is purely voluntary.
That’s what’s odd. How many voluntarily take it for an MOT?
What happens if it fails?
… but you have to get it formally changed by the DVLA to a “historic vehicle” before you can take advantage of MOT exemption, it can be a bit of a pain (ask me how I know).
@portvalenil , is that chalked sign in the foreground a bit of self promotion?
