It’s a DB6. Looks like a restoration that ran out of money.
Just one MX-5 in the auction, a 20-y-o 2.5. Lot 101, p82.
Cracking excuse for a day out in Buxton, mind
I will definitely give you £25 for those.
Was that all down the back of your sofa?
Perhaps check your trouser pockets for holes?
Thanks Jason, I’ll take a look at that. My favourite stones book is Copey’s “Modern Antiquarian”
We have a massive amount of Sparrows who have adopted our garden as their playground this year. The juveniles are learning to fly with precision (make it into the feeder without crashing) and avoid hitting windows… thankfully no fatalities to date.
Not a photo, but a photo question. Where do ypu generally buy your equipment. I’m looking at a buying wide angle lens most likely used as Sony can be eye wateringly expensive, but I have no personal experience of the 2nd hand retailers in this area. Any recommendations?
I’ve used https://www.mpb.com several times and found the service to be excellent.
Cheers, glad you said that. They have come up while searching and have what I want in stock
I have used Wex Photo Video a few times. They have stores as well as having an online presence. I’ve bought a few items for my Nikon and Fuji cameras over the years that were described as grade 9, but they certainly looked and felt completely new. The staff at the Norwich store were both knowledgable and enthusiastic.
Mercia marina?
Yes mate
Friends in the UK have sung the praises of WEX to me on more than one occasion, and recommended them.

I used MPB , they had the lens in stock. Overall a very positive experience. The lens is mint.
All this talk of new lenses led me to dig my old Nikon out of a cupboard… and to buy a new VR lens for it!
