Spent a couple of days in Keswick last week. Beautiful weather and, being midweek February, it was enjoyably quiet. Some nice photo opportunities.
The MX5! On the way home from coffee with our daughter via the coast road I stopped for a photo shoot to capture the cloud cover. A 24 degrees day with the searing sun filtered by the clouds made it a perfect day for top down motoring.
24°f ?
No, Celsius.

Obviously the car thought its driver needed some more lessons.
The increased rear traction from the spoiler obviously wasn’t enough.
Or the excessive down force from the ideally-sited rear wing meant the front was too light to grip.
Actually, I think I have blown more money on LPs and CDs, though the former can be bought second hand quite cheaply these days.
Nice photos - especially the third one. My dad, who got me started on sports cars (Triumphs in his case) and hi-fi, loved his modified Thorens TD124 MKII with 12" SME arm. “The best there is”…
Your choice of amp and speakers ?
I have four B&W DM603 S2 loudspeakers that are driven by a Denon AVR589 receiver/amplifier. This in turn is fed from an RME UFX A/D-D/A box, which also plays recordings from hard drive. LPs reach this through an amplifier. Also running to the RME box is an Oppo BDP105EU player that handles any audio or video disk that I have encountered.
