Haha… Didn’t think this thread would take long to launch!! I have an ND, so no hardtop, but will watch this thread with interest nevertheless…! 
Mine sort of folds up and stows behind the seats.

When I had a MK1 and the MK2 it was kept above the car, in the garage, on a hoist bought from Moss
My MK2 hard top lives in a hard top storage bag and hangs on the garage wall, when not attached to the car - I admit it does not look as impressive as the ‘wall art’ that Rachelpicapica has created, but it does the job!
You should fit some lights behind it . . .
