With Winter here we have to take every opportunity to get out with the hood down. 14 degrees but the sun was shining so we went down to the local estuary for a picnic.
Exactly like our summer if you ask me!
8 hours driving each way for a Highland hiking holiday, including Spittal of Glenshee’s Old Military Road all the way up to Speybridge
How are the midges doing ?
Very plump after feasting on me. Had my coat off for all of 30 mins coming off Ben Nevis when it finally stopped raining… they got a full 3 courses, I’ve got at least 8 large bites.
Oh dear. Working out my NC500 dates for next year… Pre May I think at the moment…
Just bathe in Smidge, you’ll be alright. They are out in force and a bit early this year because of the recent mildness.
Royal Hillsborough Co Down to Navan Co Meath…… to see my dentist! ( it’s a long story…)
Hope your dentist done a better job than your concealing of your plate …only joking
Bathing in Smidge definitely stops them feasting on you, but it doesn’t stop you feasting on them while eating your cheese, mayo and crisp sarnies as has happened to us many a time, including one especially bad time sheltering from the rain under the overhang of a large rock in the lost valley in Glen Coe, mmm tasty
They are an essential protein supplement to the diet.
Very true, also it’s getting our own back from all the time they’ve had a meal out of us.
Took the 5 for the 7th annual service.
Asked them to check chassis, subframe, uprights, floor pan etc for tin worm - all good - apparently the engineer asked why I wanted to know - all in excellent order.
There is nothing lurking unseen…
So 1 happy ND driver.
Pic taken at my mate’s place on the way home
Yea that was good show, plenty of variety, your car looked great as always
Maybe because you asked something very unusual, you know, actually caring about your car.
If it’s a dealership, 90% PCP cars coming in ‘maybe’ don’t have the ‘owners’ forensically concerned about ‘their’ cars to such a level
Nice drive over to Lytham windmill then onto Blackpool to see the sights and get some chips … I was very excited to see my chips arriving
After 7 months off the road, with just an occasional excursion to the end of the drive, our Mk 2.5 arrives for its check-up, passing 24,000 miles on the way
Not too far tonight. Down to Swansea Areana to see Status Quo
