Hi has anyone had problems with electric windows I have a 2017 rf the driver’s window has gradually gone slower and slower I’ve taken the door card off and can see strands of wire around the top cable I’ve sniped of the loose strands by moving the window up and down but now I can’t get the window to move at all my guess would be that it’s some type of censer issue and the window doesn’t know where it is any suggestions would be appreciated regards Mick
Probably the well known MK4 window regulator problem

33 years later, MX5 windows break for exactly the same reason as the first time. Good grief.
