Worst thing about the nd

RFs do, I don’t believe the soft top does though

Not being able to afford one lol.

Agreed, the auto window down but not up on the non RF is very infuriating!

The Lane alert is also annoying, it’s turned off constantly on mine.

The driver alert info after 45mins driving is a total distraction- is there a way of turning that off?

The Jelly Baby alert… notification for my passenger to provide a blood sugar boost from the on-board catering supplies :grinning:

Sad to learn that is not a feature restricted to the Ssangyongs I got to drive when delivering organs for transplant, just what one needs when one is 45 mins into a 2 hour plus blues and two’s drive

Never seen this myself what does it display and was it in from the start of production or from ND2 onwards?

never seen it alerting you to what

To take a driving break.
My ‘take a break’ alert comes on quite randomly. Sometimes it’s lit up shortly after I’ve just made a rest stop. :person_shrugging:

It’s called the Driver Attention Alert (DAA) From the online manual:

The DAA is a system which detects driver fatigue and decreased attentiveness, and encourages the driver to take a rest.

When the vehicle is driven inside traffic lane lines at about 65 to 140 km/h (40 to 86 mph), the DAA estimates the amount of accumulated fatigue and decreased attentiveness of the driver based on the information from the Forward Sensing Camera (FSC) and other vehicle information, and encourages the driver to take a rest using an indication on the multi-information display and a warning sound.

As above, seems to come on just as I set off!

I too disliked the thin slippy standard wheel.
I too searched online and landed at Royal.
I chose this type and couldn’t be happier…,

got to ask what have you got holding that AA map in

I think that it also “Alerts” when it sees the driver is not looking at the road ahead i.e. either falling asleep, rubbernecking or looking down at a mobile phone. Not me!

Changed my washer bottle for the larger Dave Fab one the got it dipped in the carbon fibre effect …

Got them on a 20% discount day with my servicing items so it worked out very cheep

By replacing the factory washer bottle with this high quality aluminium DaveFab version, not only will your engine bay look superb, it will add an extra litre of fluid capacity!

  • Utilises the factory mounting points, hose and pump. Simply remove the original and replace
  • Increased capacity of 2.2 litres (compared to the standard 1.2 litres)
  • Utilises the factory pump. Simply remove the pump and grommet from the original bottle and push fit it into place

Try getting the Accessory part from mx5 things will give you this and more from your key fob and a double press on your rubber door button will open close your windows takes around 35 mins to fit well worth it ………

I didn’t know the DaveFab tank was larger!
And I already have that controller, just haven’t fitted it yet :man_shrugging:

I think for me my worst thing is the clutch judder in the cold/damp… Reverse gear is terrible especially… Once the engine warms up its fine…

Apparently moisture on the flywheel causes it, which sounds about right as back in the headwaves this year I had no judder at all… Weird

I’ve never experienced that one.

First I’ve heard of it as well.

First time I have heard of this in 8 years of ND production either, you must be unlucky.
