Hi again everyone,
I have just got off the phone again with Jeff and the hotel has confirmed the room bookings for those highlighted in green in column 4 (Staying at Regency Park Hotel), which equates to 12 poeple in 6 rooms.
The new Reservations Manager (Brazilia) has reserved us another 20 rooms, so if you do wish to book a room at the hotel, please let us know as soon as possible. Those that have already stated that they will not be staying over, need not reply 
Finally, the White Hart booking for evening meal, is still in the “melting pot”, as they are currently going through ownership changes 
, so we will be in contact with them in Jan/Feb to confirm our booking with them but hopefully, al will be good

We have received the message below from Jeff on the IOW ref the Highclere visit next year.
WARNING. The hotel has been hacked and I have received suspicious email asking to reconfirm and re-add credit card details. DO NOT DO THIS- I have spoken to the hotel directly. The booking is not cancelled. Please delete and report the email if you can.

Hi again all,
I have spoken to Jeff on the small island again tonight (Monday 8th Dec)about the Hotel being hacked and fortunately very few people responded to the email, which is great news👍
Can I please ask everyone that received an email yesterday regarding their reservation at the Regency Park Hotel to let me know soonest, if they did respond to the email and we will check your reservation is still good

This message is just a reminder that, if you wish to stay the The Regency Hotel with us and the IOW Group at the discounted rate, please be sure to make your booking by the end of January, as Jeff will be closing the booking after this date.

Hi Everyone,
It’s all change again I am afraid, as The White Hart, where we were going for our evening meal are going through a Management/ New Owership Change and every time Jeff tried to get someone to talk to about our booking in April, he unfortunately, got the “run-around” and didn’t speak to the same person twice, let alone someone who knew what was actually going on and able to confirm things for our visit, with any surety
So, the decision has been made to change our evening meal venue to The Hare & Hounds, Newbury and they have been very accomodating thus far and accepted our booking and even better still they have agreed that we all only pay a £10/head meal deposit, which will be deducted from our bill on the night

Please let me know your meal choices soonest and also pay the requisite £10/head deposit, via PayPal, to: solent@mx5oc.co.uk stating “Hare &Hounds Deposit”, so I can identify it easily!
Thus far, I only have 8 Solent Members, that I have ported over from the White Hart Evening Meal (see the R/H column of the screengrab of the spreadsheet below), so if you wish to attend the evening meal, at the Hare & Hounds please reply to this post and let me know, so I can update Jeff and also pay the deposit monies to the Hare & Hounds soonest.
