As a newbie with an ND I’d be interested whether there’s a particular standard of wave? I think I was rather over enthusiatic waving over the windscreen at a nice blue NB driver yesterday but a couple of days ago a chap in an orange NB waved enthusiastically at me and I just waved from the steering wheel. What should I be aiming for?
Here in Cardiff / Caerphilly it’s a 30 / 70 split in my experience. The wave is, er, waning.
That said, in Llanishen earlier this afternoon, a parked metallic blue NC owner (male, flowing locks, 50s) did make an enthusiastic wave as I drove past at a heart-stopping 18mph (this is urban driving in Wales, folks 
). Naturally, with the top down in this 
weather, I returned the 
back from my Soul Red Crystal ND.
It made my day (and his, fair play). Da iawn!

Had an in-screen wave from an NB yesterday. So we struggle on….
I think, despite the humiliation of being ignored, the wave should be supported until we start actually start getting a middle-finger back.

Thumbs up, is always good to received, especially from the punters sipping the beers outside the Inn of Happiness. Speed advisory is a recommended 5mph, so you can soak all up all the cheering, flag waving & screaming.
PS Crowd reaction nothing to do with the Italian Job Miura flashing frantically in your mirrors…

I Got a proper enthusiastic wave from a French plate NC today - after yesterday caught me by surprise! Reciprocated with an equally happy wave back!

Got a wave from a car that doesn’t normally reciprocate but noted they had a passenger for the first time. What you could make of that I wonder?
Just as an aside…. We often have to give way around the village and mostly the visitors pick this up quickly and return the compliment.
Today gave way to a mega all black Mercedes that was already too far into a bottleneck. What I didn’t expect was a huge middle-finger from the occupant of the rear seat as they passed by.
I suppose you have to expect some peeps to just be inexplicably ill mannered/dangerous. I may have watched too much telly but, even gangsters go on holiday?

Got 2 waves from the same driver today on seperate occasions. Grey NC. Think he’s from here actually. 
Plus an elderly lady sitting outside her caravan in Portsoy waved as we pootled by. I wonder if she’d wave at a " normal" car?

Friend waved two gunmetal RFs on Friday (identical to his) one gave a triple wave out the top

I had (and gave) several friendly waves with other MX5 drivers as we drove over to Harewood Hall and back today. Great to see the wave is alive and well
And my apologies to the grey MX5 who was headed uphill on the A59 towards Skipton, who gave me a friendly “hello” headlight flash as I drove with a group of about 10 MX5s from the North West group this morning. I was in “slow processing” mode, and was past you before I had a chance to respond!

I’m happy to report that I picked up my first Mx5 yesterday and I have already received several waves, I’d say 70% hit rate since the weather was lovely this weekend and there were quite a few Mx5s around!

Got a good few waves and responded in kind around Kent and Sussex this weekend. Also (as required) parked my RF next to this great looking NC in our hotel car park.
