Hats off to you! An amazing result. Do not sell it (unless to me… :slightly_smiling_face:)

Thank you.

I’m amazed at the list of potential buyers out there be it possibly in the club, the mechanic that did all the work the other day. Even the recovery truck driver wanted to take it straight home!

Good sign that it’s quality and a desirable little auto.

Want to try and find out it’s exact model. Was A/C standard in the basic model. I learnt previously that this type of auto was made between 1991 and 1992!

Any help please?

Ant

Absolutely a seller’s market, I’m sure. If I had a garage I would have an NA, the ND has to make do with the driveway. It is at least getting a wash in today’s downpour.
Best of luck with whatever you decide to do - suspect it might be a dilemma - looking forward to thread updates :+1:

Mk1 advice needed. As you know all was good with the car and the work and MOT yesterday. I haven’t done anything with the ignition side of the car yet. When the cars cold it sometimes struggles to start. It’s had a new fuel pump and fuel is getting to the pistons. It also does have spark but these haven’t been changed. I got it started in the end and was running fine but does anyone know what this would be? Is this simple new plugs or leads or something else ignition related?

Thanks in advance

Anthony

New plugs and leads would be a good start point, not expensive either for the Mk1.

Will do. Getting the right ones as well. It’s amazing when I got new brakes on a like for like Eunos they came up wrong on the rear.

Thanks

Anthony

An earlier reply gave teh Japanese spec sheet.

This is the brochure appropriate to this model of car:

The caption indicates that aircon was a shop option. I’ve seen more Eunos Roadsters without PAS than without aircon.

The totally poverty model:

These are the ones most likely to end up with a rollcage etc fitted.

For teh 1992MY (late 1991-1992), the range was denoted as S-Package or V-Special.

On the S-Package, the rubber steering wheel was standard, and owners could upgrade to the Momo leather steering wheel, or the wood Nardi Classico, with matching shifter and handbrake. Steel wheels were standard, and the owner could option the alloy “Daisy” wheel.

Ordered new plugs and leads before I think about a coil pack.

Had a little go at getting rid of some of the filth in the engine bay today. Not finished but good to see some red and silver parts.

I love the results of cleaning up the engine bay. It makes such a difference, when it’s normally seen coated in crud, for it to be as shiny as the outside. Speaks of a greater degree of care overall and also makes it more pleasant to work on!

Lovely job. Wish my NB looked that clean

Wish my ND looked that clean. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
