Hey All,
I’ve just had my MX-5 MK3 fail it’s first MOT due to needing the Offside Rear Inner Sill welding.
Does anyone have any recommendations for welders within the Berkshire/Oxfordshire Area?
Also does anyone know what sort of price I should be expecting to pay for this sort of work? Never had any welding done on a car.

It’s how longs a piece of string I’m afraid.
Differing prices amount of work that needs doing can put the job at £200 (quick plate over) to up £1k depending how far the rust/rot has travelled.
Best wait for recommendations in your area unless you can travel to get to a specialist repairer, MX-5 repairer.
Whoever it is needs to see the car to quote, they usually then give their estimate.

Had pre and post Pandemic Welding on my MX5 2.5 NB and Was Lucky to Land in Area where the Local Specialists were also Club Members so Member Discount
Unfortunately Not in Your Neck of Woods
Surely Your Area Co-Ordinator Might Have Some Further Knowledge Re Where U Are ??

Not exactly in your area but not too far away. There are two Specialist MX5 Welders in Hampshire;
Julian at Doctor MX5 and Andrew at Solent MX5
Both do seamless welding repairs to MX5 sills and arches🙂
