Reworked the information station in my NA.
I’ve had an air temp gauge in for quite some time (measured intake air temp in the filter box) & needed somewhere to mount the display for my TPMS system.

I had the room to build triple…but SWMBO said no. :sob:

WHAT!!!

that is very very… very… clean and I rekon you also have OCD mate :joy:

I do…and I’d like to put down that lovely floor tile system but it’s just too expensive and hard to justify because of the size of the garage.

Mine took three months to arrive from BOFI, and it came with no nyloc nuts, M8 I think they were. I had to purchase my own.
Ask BOFI to send you the electronic PDF of the instructions as it is a lot clearer than the black and white printed copy you receive.
If I remember correctly the PHRT installation has less steps than the soft top version, but if you have any issues message me and I might be able to help.

Today I have mostly trimmed/modified the Roll Hoop Garnishes on my ND to better clear the hood when it is down. I also fitted the red and orange side marker eflectors that I had, in place of the blanking mouldings fitted to the front and rear bumpers. Did not fit any lights to these, but they are better than nothing and I hate any sort of blanking plate where it is obvious something should go there!

Sort of fixed my window - for now!

Last night heard a click-click-clicking as I tried to put it up, then it jamed! 17:30 so it was dark, which didn’t make things easy and I dont have a garage where I could put it and wait till later/next day - so door card off and torch in hand had a fumble about and twang the already threaded line that raises/lowers the window broke, but I was then able to pull the window up by hand - with the amount of rain we’ve been getting no way was I leaving it open and as it sits for most of the week and I use the company car it would be inviting theifs and vandals.

New(ish) regulator ordered of of flea bay - £30 + £8 delivery Vs +£100 from MX5 Parts!

Annoying thing is I had to replace it about 5 yers ago, got a garage near to where I was working to do it as I was away from home and no tools - the buggers never put the vapour barier back on, which might be why I was getting a frozen lock in the really cold weather due to water/condensation getting into the inner part of the door instead of running down the vapour barrier and dropping off - any idea where I could get a new one of those or is there something I could use and fabricate myself? Would a piece of visqueen (heavy duty ploythene used in constructuion) do the trick?

Finally swapped the wheels… I’m sure the purists will dislike the new ones as much as the old :joy:

They are 16”s from an ND, sorta, well, a Fiat 124 to be precise!
