Ooo… for me? You shouldn’t have…
Nothing too taxing today, noticed I had a tyre losing air after a recent trip out and the key fob wasn’t working very well. Nice simple fixes, new tyre valve and new fob battery sorted👌
Washed down ready for a few days away next week.
End of project build
That’s an impressive improvement
ND is 5! MOT and service per schedule, all genuine Mazda parts was £230 all-in. I’ve averaged 4,500 Miles per year, it seems.
If it was a main dealer and used the ‘correct’ Mazda oil then it was indeed good value but I suspect they used a perfectly suitable substitute. Still a very good price.

Dude what offset are you using?
Honestly the winmax w5 compound is ace (a bit squeaky for road but on track is amazing)
I had been thinking that my track MX5 was a little boring in silver with a few black accents , so though it was time to add some colour . And we all know stickers will make it go faster lol
Changed both rear drop links as one was a mot reminder. Took a while as only have a set of ramps and obviously had to grind off the lower nuts.
Took out the whole ARB ASSEMBLY and hacksawed the top bolts as it was quicker. Refitted easy peasey.
Then swapped the windscreen washer nozzles, had fitted some ford maverick ones as recommended on her by someone, but they were ■■■■. So just fitted correct mazda ones and spray pattern is perfect now.
Needs a clean though……….
That’s how I changed my rear ones, much easier to cut them off on the bench.
I must have got lucky with mine, was fully expecting to have to cut but a good soaking with penetrating fluid the day before and they came right off.
Hi
Thank you! Great answer, much appreciated!
Interesting that WD40 does work, even though its designed as a water dispersant or do they mean WD40 branded penetrating fluid?

Hi Dude….! 20mm all round….!
In June 2018 I was given, then 16 year old, Madge by my girl friend, now ex, who bought her for me on a whim of wanting a red sports car.
Like all new NBFL owners it was not long before I started finding odd bits of tube and an assortment of connectors for items that were never fitted.
Today after filling up I could not get Madge restarted until a kindly chap from Hungary wielded some magic with one of those jump start tools. When I got home I checked the charge on the Panasonic Gel battery I have had in stock since March and when I was satisfied the new battery was still good fitted it and finally got those untidy pipes hooked up as they are supposed to be.
