Ah yes, the good old days!

Changed rear reg plate bulb, this is literally a 5 minute job…although it took me 10 minutes.

Made it shiny shiny… perfect overcast conditions for a wash and polish.

As it was dry today (shock, horror!) fitted the tinted wind blocker from fellow member Roadie. And I must say it looks great and what a difference it makes to reward visibility when reversing.

Pains me greatly keeping Madge locked up inside until her custom paint job is going to be done in a couple of weeks, but under strict instructions to not polish the new paint work or otherwise damage it. With that in mind put second coat of Fabsil on her superb brand new BAS International soft top fitted for me by Steve and Ali at MX5 Restorations Ilkeston.

Meshectomy to the back of my ND seats… so much better! Had already done the bottoms, but feel even more “in” (rather than on) the seats now. The “wings” flex inwards as you sit in the seat, hugging your sides nicely. Better lumber support too after I’d played with how many clips to undo. Easy job, disappointed I didn’t investigate this sooner!

Safety note, seats have airbags so disconnect battery and allow to discharge for 20 mins before delving in.

Put him on the trailer all strapped down ready for an early start in the morning for round 1 of the Javelin Sprint series at Blyton, getting quicker at this, out of the garage on the trailer strapped and hitched to tow car in under 30 mins … I won’t say how long it took the first time we did it lol.

Did the bumper have markings on the inside for the sensors?

Yeah I be keen to know thus as well?

Looks very good!

no markings inside there are to circles about sensor size at either end, but would drop the sensors to low because the bumper sits on or just about on the crash rail underneath there is a line that runs across the centre vertically so i just measured up from the i got the first position by putting a strong magnet on the inside and a penny on the outside to get the right placing then measured 20 cm from the centre each way then 40 cm from those out to the end ones so they are equal 40 cm apart ,thats what the destructions said was optimal
