full set in mine so how much extra BHP
0 with all that extra weight!
you Cheeky boy save some on the wheels, wilwood calliper’s and my partner/passanger is a trim girl
Good drive out around 200 miles on the clock today but still not hit the 5k miles yet shes 6 years old …top down most of the way… Poped into Royal sterring wheels for my new wheel got it fitted all done in less 30 mins and he got the wheel nut off no problem thank you Jack+team for a job well done …Now needs a good wash …!
Judging by the rust zone over half the meat of the bolt it has been overtightened at some time and stretched past normal limits.
You can’t win in that situation
So out with the shiny, thin horrible standard wheel and onto refitting my newly refurbished wheel from Royal . Slightly thicker black Alacantara with extra thumb rests, silver grey stitching with Alcantera matching 12 o clock band and whilst he was at it got matching gear and handbrake gaitors.feels amazing with the new touch points.cant recommend doing this little upgrade enough and a BIG shout-out to Jack and his team at Royal steering wheels.
Next project is to fit a nice yellow rev counter from Rev limiter and a modern head unit.
Added a bit more bling to the engine bay, a M2 Motorsport alloy radiator, quite easy to fit the only problem was the the fan cowl interfering with the power steering pipe, but a bit of jiggling around the rad slotted into place
Yes that would absolutely happen to me…doesn’t have to be an MX5 either!
How have the cosworth pads been? Thanks!
For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working on my suspension, and I finally got everything finished and aligned.
Here’s what I upgraded:
Coilovers: MeisterR
ARB: Picked up some yellow dots
Bushings: Full poly bushing kit from StrongFlex
Bearings: Both rear wheel bearings replaced
Differential: New side seals
Arms & Subframe: Refurbished, cleaned off as much rust as possible, and painted with Hammerite
Also i found a bit of rust on the left side that likely after clean it, it was just surface rust
Feels great to have it all sorted!
Was an almost done job today…
Visited my local Mazda dealership.
"Price please for complete set of rear alignment bolts for my NC 1 "
“That will be £235.14p sir”
I would have laughed at them big time!
No way I was paying those prices
I got mine from MazSpec.co.uk. Complete rear set for £65. Hope you have more luck than I did getting the toe bolts out. Mine are completely stuck in there so that’s where they’re staying for now.
Thanks for the heads up mate
