Final cleaning before Japfest tomorrow, looking forward to a good day
Went out for a lovely countryside drive and stumbled across a lovely canal side pub for lunch.I think this photo sums up perfectly the MX5 feeling
Nice job mate , I’ve took a great deal of time zooming in on pics for imperfections … Just to have one over on you like … There’s none
Enjoy the show
Hilarious, sorry to hear you wasted your time
Washed, polished and waxed for Japfest tomorrow!
That level of bodgery potentially putting people’s lives at risk is bordering on criminal.
When i was in restoration/refinishing i saw loads of that type of thing, chicken wire and newspaper seemed to be very popular.
…bordering on criminal
Indeed…saw this as police officer…cut up oil cans another favourite
Leading to RTA.s we attended …at worst…loss of life
Some people will do anything for a quick profit!
Did he sell it in the end? Just sold my PRHT and already searching for its replacement, despite saying I’d leave it for a year…
Had my first service done and the work for the recall carried out today at Mazda MKG3000 Twickenham. Parking Assist Unit - Reprogramming of parking assist unit. Thought the service was fairly reasonable at £310.
Removed front calipers from my NC.
Pistons and seals out , fairly cruddy and rusty piston.
Made a start on buffing down / removing years of various colours of paints applied by previous owners.
No, no takers.
After many years of using Bilt Hamber Auto-Foam, I tried Touch-Less for the first time today. Very impressive results using recommended 2% PIR vs 4% with auto-foam.
For future maintenance washes I’ll be dropping down to 1%.
It’s been a year today since I picked up the ND, so to celebrate I’ve gone crazy with some carbon ‘look’ key covers! Woop!
To be fair they look to be decent quality and I can’t complain at less than £3 each…
Fitted an upgrade GPS/DAB/FM powered aerial. Was nervous about the radical solution but actually really pleased with the result.
Tomorrow I am starting the audio system upgrade to plug the aerial in to!
Changed the thermostat (2hour job). Top tip, make sure you have the right tools, it’s so much easier. Now
have a working temperature gauge again. Then in further prep for the trip to France
