Heatwave. went to the beach.
Throwing some serious G’s into corners, car is now tuned to the way i like, and with high temp tyres and road surface. like glue ![]()
Added in a Creations Motorsport silicone intake pipe to go with the Direnza cold air intake I fitted a while back and replace the aging (and as I discovered when changing it) split stock pipe. I don’t know if it’ll make any noticeable difference to the performance but imo it looks better than stock and let’s be honest that’s all a lot of us really care about.
Looked great. Got a link?
Love the red seat belts! Can you tell me / provide a link to who you used to get them changed? Thanks. ![]()
Thanks, and of course:
Its small details that make all the difference. ![]()
Let’s hope there’s karma.
Turtlewaxed it. And the 130i. Was going to do the wife’s 530e but she went out in it. The son’s Up! is filthy so he can do his own.
Have to say am impressed with their sealnshine spray.
Did some wheel fettling today, in particular I wanted to take a closer look at the old Yokohama’s that are fitted. Couldn’t find anything wrong with the tyres, they even have loads of tread. Previous owner said they are the originals, cars on 24k mile and ND1.![]()
Everything else is spot on, brake wise, hardly worn discs & pads and plenty of underseal everywhere as it was done from when the car was new.
I don’t really fancy ditching serviceable tyres but but on age I think they’ll have to get swapped for some Kumho’s.![]()
I think it may be your USB Settings which have changed along with access to them in Android 15.
For my phone whilst physically connected and unlocked I had to swipe down a couple of times to get to Notifications and then change the USB ettings to allow File Transfer and Android Auto.
hth
The USB settings have been checked as suggested by another couple of members thanks to all and yourself
I just conclude it’s a combo of the phone and android auto not compatible with my ND’s Mazda connect.
So… mini service this morning: Oil/Filters/Plugs… well overdue replacement of older wheel arch liner clips… (satisfying clicks as they connect…) Inner wheel rims cleaned on all wheels with new wheel nuts also fitted (satin black) and fitted new rear mud guards… then fitted new seats (from a venture)
Had been looking at some on and off for a while now, wasn’t sure at first but think they look great now. Just need to locate some door cards
Pretty productive day then somehow the rest of it just disappeared?? May have been the extended road test that was clearly needed…
I really like that copper red & the colour coded lip looks right at home too!
Thanks… does sit well… wasn’t the easiest tbh but well worth the effort ![]()
If you use Amazon, you can get 5 litres of the stuff for £22.50. Just keep the old spray bottle and decant it from the big bottle when required.
What did you do to get the tinted finish on your rear lights?
