Maybe 2 or 3mm spacer dunno
Looking superb!
The wheel / tyre / suspension combo works really well there!
The rear callipers in all their shame !!
Ah will be painting those don’t you worry about that
Looks really good.
How do they feel ?
Still bedding in but compared to the stock brakes there is obviously an instant improvement and much better feel with no jerky grab
Removed and replaced a badly scuffed n/s mirror on my NC2. I bought a pre-painted replacement from mx-5 parts and was pleasantly surprise how easy it was to fit, although a little fiddly. Quick spin round the country lanes, everything working ok, mirror, door lock, speakers and electric window, well pleased!
Chances are I have waved at you indeed. I wave at all 5’s and 500’s.
I got a wave from the driver of a cute silver MK1 on Abbey Road the other day. First time I’d seen it. There are actually a lot of MX-5 's around here.
I’ve ordered some from my optician with all the coatings, varifocaland polarised for £230
One problem with reactolite is that they need direct sun on them to go dark,.
This isn’t a problem in the MX5 with roof down, of course but it is in the BeeEmm
Like most photochromic materials they respond to UV. The windscreen glass blocks UV.
However, when you need it in the direct sun with lots of UV, they also block it.
I wore Zeiss Photo-grey for decades, partly because I hated brown lenses and partly because I was working with film and colour TV and needed correct colour vision. They took about fifteen seconds to change, so were always late!
Removed brake light and resealed in an effort to cure damp boot syndrome.
Take a pic using Google translate
I almost bought them myself? I asked the seller if they would change the script from kanji word to just mx5? They wouldn’t or couldn’t due to copyright? Fair enough. I think it’s jinba ittai or whatever
I ended up with these
Barrie
Like the nuts, I’ve ordered some Muteki red nuts
I think it’s egg fried rice?
Just kidding. Looks cool
Rear strut brace fitted and carpet cut and fitted on my ND.
Roundabouts beckon this weekend when the wife is busy somewhere else.
