Swopped the IL Motorsport coolant tank for a Moroso/Racing Beat tank so that it ‘matches’ the power steering reservoir better.
Damn! I just received my Moroso tank this afternoon so now it’ll look like I’m copying . I also have the power steering one on order and have bought a red metal cap for it. Oh well, great minds think alike I guess.
Taxed the car for another 12 months. Hoping to get better value from it than the last 12.
Thats a seriously tidy bay… take a bow my friend
Nope…you’re copying…LoL !!
Deffo… Brian PM’d me and told me so…
Sorry Bri, only jesting…
Awsome
Took off my winter wheels and tyres and replaced with my summer set.
Then it snowed…
Cleaned and oiled my Pipercross air filter. Then drove it 50 miles just for pleasure in the lovely sunshine…glad there’s a great heater tho’ !!
Was going to take off my hard top tomorrow, but don’t want to cause a blizzard…
Similar scenario here today too. I recharged my air con but can’t tell any difference as it’s below the air con temp outside…in April!!!
Fitted a new instrument gauge sheet from Revlimiter. I liked a lot of the options on the website but wanted to mix and match, and also add a few things. Adam at Revlimiter was happy to do that and I just had to pay for an hours worth of design time, which was $60 I think.
The quality is better than OEM and installation is a breeze with his comprensive instructions. I also coloured the needles red to match my R-Spec gauges (Adam tells you how to do this on his site) and even trimmed the back end off the rev counter and speedo needles so they match the fuel, oil and water needles.
Lastly, there were spots on the clear plastic faces where someone has splashed something and it has removed the anti-reflective coating, so I used T-cut to remove the coating completely.
Display at night
Plastic faces showing ‘before treatment’ on right, and ‘after’ on left
Very nice👍
Was the Warning Triangle/First Aid Kit/Yellow Vest kit bought specifically for this installation?
Maybe you should get a fire extinguisher while you’re at it!
No, I just happen to have them anyway, smart alec
And so should all of us, even if we never go to the EU.
When you deal with as many emergencies as I do on a regular basis, this year a the resulting thought process
Looking good! Those ‘spots’ on the plastic cover over the gauges is a common issue! You’re right, it looks like someone has splashed something over it
