Andrew: is that your car in the ‘caption‘ picture ? Green MK1 or MK2? I’m trying to work out what model it would have been 18 years ago …I’ve never owned one of the earlier cars. Mine is 14 years old so it’s getting on a bit. My son used to buy and sell mK 1 models when they were nearly new The price of them was so cheap back then He used to bring them around to show me,

Thanks Raymond👍 - it does get used for 8 months of the year although its ‘sorned’ now until March. Only failed its MOT once some years ago on headlight alignment so a good track record.

Its a MK 2 face lift (2003) in splash green as in my profile photo. It was a 2003 colour limited to 738 made so you don’t see many around. There are other members on here though who have the same colour.

Thanks for the update Andrew, Sometimes the stories that accompany the cars are as interesting as the cars themselves. I like the way certain cars become unique in themselves by being limited editions or having limited status for one reason or another. I recently sold my “RCZ Magnetic” limited edition (Only 126 ever built) That sold immediately it went on the market just because of its limited edition appeal … take care. Cleaned, claybar’d and dried the car ready for polish and ceramic. Just as car was dry it started to rain.

Been to WIM and had some Meister Rs fitted and aligned.
It’s been a long wait for them to come back into stock but a huge thanks to Tony & Joe for all their help and expertise in getting them in and fitted today.
