Found a sheep and her half-grown lamb in a disused shed at my brother’s farm. Complemented her on her choice of earrings to break the ice but got blanked

Burghead Harbour, MorayFirth, Tuesday night

Beautiful! There’s a beach hut at either Burghead or Hopeman that painted up as a Broons comic strip.

I’ll look out for that when we’re back up visiting my son and his wee family……thank-you.
Photo taken with a (basic) iPhone SE 2020.

We walked along the coastal path from Hopeman to Burghead last year- it’s a lovely scenic walk. Unfortunately my wife lost a bracelet, quite valuable and of considerable sentimental value too.

A local lady found it and managed to find us through my daughter-in-law’s FB presence.

Yes, there are still decent, kind people around……

Steak dinner at the most excellent Lobster Pot in Bamburgh. So good…I rebooked for an action replay when I was paying up. Had not noticed my beloved’s local fresh netted halibut with prawn and white wine sauce and sides was a bargain at £48.00. Who cares? Just as well I necked 2 x J.D. doubles to aid the Unlocking of the Sporran under guard.

Where in Wales is that?

It’s actually about 20/30 mins cruise down from Berwick off the A1.
Just up from Seahouses on the coast.

We had a nice AirBnB.

That pic brings back happy memories of our MX-5 OC visit to Northumberland staying in Seahouses for a week or so in June 2015.

We missed you this week, we were in Bamburgh Wednesday crawling all over the castle and a stroll along the beach. Staying near Alnwick for a few days. Just arrived back home after a stopover near Durham.:+1:

Cheshire, just north of Macclesfield. No house, just gardens and a permissive walk through parklands to Alderley Edge.

That’s a shame.
I’d have stood you a round or three.
Small world. As I’ve said before, if you wander over the borders to Stirlingshire, lunch on me Mick. )( At a burger van anyway!)
