Was mouse still alive ?

Sometimes I miss my late rescue cat Suzi Q but then I recall the ‘presents’ [fortunately she wasn’t that good at hunting and I managed to safely retrieve and release the few ‘gifts’ she brought me during our time together]

Also, if I ever feel the urge to rescue another I recall she was an expert on ‘doing her nails’ on every thing she could…….I mean a £100 Cat Tree and countless scratch boxes etc…………she always preferred my goods though……….the little darling

Yes the mouse was fine. I took my slipper outside and it sat for a while and then scarpered. (The mouse not the slipper)I spent the day yesterday clearing millions of dead leaves and found it’s like a mouse graveyard out there. No wonder the cats always want out! :joy:

Hi again

Cats………they are in charge of their [not our] property

If you doubt I’ve ever owned a cat…….I did a post back in July 2021 called

‘How to give a cat a pill’

Think it might amuse you if you put it into ‘Search’

So too MartinPW response

Tempted?

Yeah, who woudn’t be
But still, touch wood, there;s nothing wrong with my own to warrent shelling out, what, £23K ish as well as giving my MX-5 as a part x.
In all honesty, I was more tempted by a new black Duster I saw at Dacia; a car I could get a sleep pack for, for the dog camping, plus something I’d use ‘as a car’, and not a 25 mile blast basically for nothing, once a week or so in the better weather, when all of my infinite self inflicted weather parameters coincide lol

Another cycle today in lovely (if a bit chilly) weather. Pics south of the river Tweed near Grindon and in Norham.

Yes a lot of us have the MX-5 as basically “a toy”. But it does provide a purpose, ie; something to enjoy, even if it has to be a daily driver to work. Personally, i would rather be driving my MX-5 than my van.
