What is your favourite beer?

My current favourite for occasional home drinking is St Austell Proper Job. It certainly is. Currently on 4 for £7 at Sainsburys. Too strong, but tastes wonderful.

Hi John_M,

I like Proper Job too along with Wold Top Scarborough IPA and Shepherd Neames’s IPA!

I could find this locally in Yorkshire supermarkets and a St Austell Black IPA but not anymore,

Ofiaich!

Just to say John, if you’re passing an Aldi they stock Proper Job and it’s £1.89 a bottle, year round.

I’m quite partial to it every now and again.

Cheers,
Steve

Must say I wasn’t keen on the glass of Proper Job I had last night, my first taste of it. Much prefer my favourites, Spitfire, Bishop’s Finger or Bass.

I can’t believe that no one has mentioned Timothy Taylors beers. Their Landlord, and Boltmakers brews are pure nectar.

Me earlier in the thread.

Fruity pop to some old diehards but a decent sup.
